Space for your Projects
With a variety of spaces available from 16 – 170 sqm, Burns Street Studios CIC can accommodate both long and short term projects – specialising in visual arts, theatre and film, but our flexible spaces and facilities cater for the Creative Industries as a whole.
Rehearsal Space
The primary use for our incredible Main Hall, this has been used for years by the likes of National Theatre of Scotland and Royal Conservatoire, as well as smaller indepenant theatre organisations.
Film Location
Our flexible spaces, with tall ceilings and large open spaces are perfect to build sets or use as a base for off-site shooting.
Studio Spaces
From a single freelancer, to a small company, Burns Street Studio is an amazing space for you and your ideas to grow.
Workshop
Our ground floor workshop and primary tenant, Flux Laser & CNC Studio is the perfect neighbour when you are needing to get something cut or fabricated!
Functions & Events
We have hosted talks, workshops, events, even a wedding! With hires from half-day through to months on end, we can cater for a wide variety of requirements.
Exhibition Space
The light and airy Main Hall is a perfect location to exhibit art and design or as a photoshoot location.
Community Interested
As a Community Interest Company, any profit generated is not paid to individuals or shareholders, but reinvested back into improving our facilities, providing in-kind provision of spaces or support for creative projects.
Accessibility
With wheelchair lifts and facilities, we are an accessible building.
Based just North of the City centre, there is easy access via public transport or by active commuting, as well as plenty of on street parking
