The interim art exhibition is a vital stepping stone in the students’ artistic journey, allowing them to explore how their concepts resonate with an audience, refine their ideas, and embrace the challenges of exhibiting outside their familiar studio environment in an art exhibition space.

Burns Street Studios director, Alice Jacobs, was particularly excited to host the event. Alice herself is a proud Sculpture & Environmental Art graduate from Glasgow School of Art’s class of 2012. Seeing these talented young artists presenting work in the same program she once called home was an inspiring full-circle moment for her.

Public Openings and Performances
The show featured public openings on two Thursday evenings, drawing in a diverse audience from the local community. Visitors experienced a wide range of works, from installations and sculptures to dynamic performances. The energy in the hall was electric as the students engaged with attendees, offering insights into their creative processes and ambitions.

We are incredibly proud to provide a space where emerging artists can showcase their work and gain the confidence to launch their careers. The event aligns with our mission to support the creative community by fostering collaboration and offering affordable, versatile spaces.
